Turkon Line carried out the Ship Agency Personel training

Turkon Line, which has been actively providing maritime transportation services in the USA, European, Mediterranean and Black Sea markets for more than 25 years, continues its activities in various regions of the world by providing service to 38 ports in 4 continents with 19 agencies and 37 agency offices in 23 countries.

Turkon Line maintains its leading role in the sector by keeping the human factor in its focus in the foreground in trainings. With the aim of contributing to the development of the maritime transport industry and for the sustainability of service quality, Turkon Academy brings its Internal Trainers together with the industrial stakeholders.

Adding a new one to its training activities throughout the year, Turkon Line gave "Ship Agency" training at Izmir Chamber of Shipping. Many important subjects such as ship departure and arrival notifications, summary declaration, delivery order, vessel operation and bill of lading in the Turkish Commercial Code were included in the training conducted by Kemal Ates, who works at Turkon Izmir Regional Directorate.

Persons who want to work as Ship Agency personnel, after completing the training, will have the right to receive authorization certificate and personnel identification card if they are successful in the exam held by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. 75 candidates participated in the training held in the last week of April and lasted for 1 day.
