Intermodal Congestion Surcharge (ICS) Announcement in the USA

Dear Customers,
Due to heavy congestion on the intermodal inland services in the USA ports, the costs for inland haulage organizations are increased too much.
Therefore Turkon Line will apply “Intermodal Congestion Surcharge (ICS)” as USD 500 per container.
The ICS will be effective for the cargoes that will be loaded as from 11th August, 2021 until a second notice, and will be applied all export/import rail and truck haulages organized by Turkon Line in USA.
The starting vessels for the ICS will be “Melchior Schulte US2125W” for” Westbound” and Bomar Calais US2123E for “Eastbound”
Turkon Line was established to transport containers to USA which has a very important place in world maritime trade has become the first Turkish company by providing the shortest transit time in its industry.

BAF
The BAF tariff will be reviewed quarterly and will be adjusted according to actual fuel price change compared to previous adjustment. If the fuel price change is more than USD 40 then the BAF tariffs will be applied monthly.
