Our Women's Bridge National Team Earned the Silver Medal

Between August 20th and September 2nd, 2023, our Women's Bridge National Team made us proud and became the World Runner-up by winning the silver medal at the 46th World Bridge National Teams Championship (Venice Cup) held in Marrakech, Morocco. The team, consisting of Aslı Acar, Berrak Erkan, Hatice Özgür, İrem Özbay, Özlem Kandolu, Tuna Elmas, and Team Captain Gökhan Yılmaz, stood out with their strong team spirit and experience. In the World Championship, where 24 national teams participated, they convincingly won all group matches and brought the silver medal to our country.

Furthermore, on July 31st, 2023, at the 18th World Youth Championships held in Veldhoven, Netherlands, our U26 National Team (Hamza Çoban-Metecan Kalaycı, Hakan Kuşçu-Tuğrul Utku Sarı, Muhammed Furkan Eker-Barkın Gülez) won the third-place medal in the BAM Tournament, while our U31 National Team (Merih Dikbaş-Yiğit Başbuğ, Levent Nedim İnan-Cem Yiğit Ağa, Onur Akbıyık-Fatih Aydın) secured fifth place in the same tournament.
